B+W: One of the most respected filter brands in photography

B+W has been part of Schneider Kreuznach since 1947, aimed at producing lens filters. The Schneider company was founded by Joseph Schneider in 1913 in Bad Kreuznach, Germany. Ever since, they've focused on developing high-end filters for all types of photography. Nowadays the B+W filters, still fully manufactured in Germany, are still in the top end of the filter market.
